Perfect piece of furniture, January 11, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Convenience Concepts 90102 Mission Desk (Kitchen) This product arrived well packaged and on time. We were looking for a piece of furniture, rather than just a computer table and as we have a Mac (all in one), we didn't want anything too big. We have a small baby, so sturdiness was important too.
Well, it ticks all boxes. As usual, Amazon had it priced the cheapest, by at least $20.
Pros:
It is sturdy and made of solid wood. Even the hardboard at the back of the drawer is not too flimsy.
It looks good and the drawer hides the mouse and keyboard, so it is tidy.
It is easy to assemble- even the drawer backing had holes for the screws (yes, not nails) which attach it too the back.
Cons:
No place for a printer (which is not a problem for us, as we do not have a printer!) However, most printers are wireless now, so you can hide them away and still have your computer in the front room/somewhere visible.
Wood still smells of stain (which will wear off eventually -at least it's a fresh, new... Read more
