It was easy to put together--and so cleverly engineered! It's not meant to take a lot of weight, of course, but it's plenty sturdy. The table top is glass and very attractive, the chrome legs are nicely finished. I've had it for more than a month, and I use it nearly every day to hold my keyboard so I can spend some time standing in front of my computer instead of sitting. At the highest notch it's the perfect height for me (I'm 5'4"), so it may be a little low for taller people who want to stand.
